DMP Project Delivery Training

Main content start

The DMP Project Delivery Training course provides essential information about Stanford University's Project Delivery Process (PDP) and the tools and resources necessary for successful project delivery. It is intended for anyone who undertakes a departmentally managed project, or DMP, on behalf of Stanford.

The online training course...

  • Covers topics related to Project Initiation, Planning and Design, Permitting, Construction, and Closeout
  • Concentrates on key University policies, procedures, and guidelines related to the PDP
  • Provides information about the many departments and subject matter experts who can be of assistance throughout a project

LBRE requires that all individuals who authorize a DMP, and the department staff responsible for the project, receive mandatory training before it commences. Qualification includes agreement to the terms of the DMP Policy, and completion of the online training and qualification test.

Project Managers are responsible for understanding and complying with all policies and regulatory requirements and must always maintain authority and accountability for their projects.

To enroll in the online training course...

The Form 1 approver for your school or department (generally the Dean and/or Vice President's designee) must send a request via email to Project Management Resources. Project Management Resources can process your enrollment once approval is received.

All qualification requirements must be fulfilled before proceeding with a project.
