Associate Vice President, Finance and Administration, Managing Director of Stanford Redwood City (SRWC)

Megan Davis

Megan joined Stanford University in 1997. She coordinates the University’s Capital Plan and oversees both the Land, Buildings and Real Estate (LBRE) and SRWC operating budgets. Additional responsibilities include management of information technology, finance, human resources, maps and records, and SRWC operations. Megan provides critical annual reporting through the LBRE Year in Review and the University’s Capital Budget and Capital Plan (both of which are presented to Stanford’s Board of Trustees). She is a founding member of the Stanford University Power LLC (governing a 100% renewable electricity portfolio). Megan led, managed, and implemented LBRE’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Strategic Plan.

Megan says her two biggest accomplishments were developing Stanford’s Investment in Plant program, which has been the foundational system for keeping LBRE managed buildings out of deferred maintenance, and establishing the DEI initiative, which is enhancing LBRE’s culture and employee engagement. She has served on numerous university initiatives including the “Our Community” segment of the Stanford President’s Long-Range Planning Steering Committee.
