Who Can Nominate

Any LBRE employee may nominate any eligible staff members in any department or administrative area who meet the Award criteria (see Eligibility Criteria above). A nominator must provide examples of the nominee's work and positive workplace impact. Self-nominations are not allowed.

Nomination Process

All nominations must be electronic. Please use the online Google form to submit your Award nomination. Nominations will be reviewed by an Award Selection Committee, which for the inaugural year is the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Council (DEIC) Human Resources (HR) Policies and Procedures workstream and includes: a bargaining unit member, an individual contributor, an LBREHR team member, unit Director, and SLT member. Future Award Selection Committees will include previous LEGACY Award winners. Selection Committee members are not eligible to submit nominations. The SLT will give final approval to all LEGACY Award winners.

The nomination period is currently closed.

Award recipients will each receive $1,000 and be announced and celebrated at our fall All-Staff meeting.
