Crothers & Crothers Memorial Renovation

Project Description

Crothers Hall, Crothers Memorial Hall, and the Mark Taper Law Student Center currently offer combined area totals of 104,342 gross square feet (gsf) of coeducational dormitory and ancillary facility that currently support 236 graduate students. The renovation project in 2009 will re-purpose the facilities to house 375 undergraduate students. A new Resident Fellow self-contained apartment will be added in the renovation as well as a bank of offices. The scope of construction includes seismic upgrades to minimum level 4, code upgrades as required to meet current life-safety standards, and ADA improvements. In addition, program improvements, landscape upgrades, infrastructure, and utility-related deferred maintenance improvements will be completed.
